2015 marked the third year of the Australian Craft Brewers’ Conference as the Australasian Craft Beer industry’s premier event. As a silver sponsor of the Conference we designed the brand identity, collateral suite, web page interface, e-newsletter, environmental displays and print and digital advertising.
Anchored in the idea of conversation, the new brandmark uses a familiar and accessible universal sign for communication – the speech bubble.
The visual language is intrinsically reflective of the values and personality of the Australian craft beer industry – using hand-crafted qualities reflective of category and broader definition of the word ‘craft’, “an art, trade, or occupation requiring special skill”. The conference was an outstanding success with the new visual identity strategy and execution contributing to 40% increase of delegates from 2014 and a 56% increase in sponsors.
