Celebrating the success of women everywhere.

International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women. The day also marks a call to action for accelerating gender parity.

The day is all about unity, celebration, reflection, advocacy and action, and has been occurring for well over a century and continues to grow from strength to strength.

To honour International Women’s Day, 8 March 2020, The Edison Agency have made a donation on behalf of all the inspiring females we work alongside to Fitted for Work, an employment service helping women build skills and develop confidence to achieve meaningful work.

Fitted for Work is an innovative organisation and the first of its kind in Australia. Their vision is economic independence and empowerment for women and their mission is to help women experiencing disadvantage get work, keep work and navigate their world of work.

The focus is specifically on helping women gain employment because work provides financial security as well as a sense of social connectedness, dignity and pride.
