The Edison Agency were engaged by FORWARD PR Agency, to create a bold new identity that captured the agency’s 10-year history of leading the consumer PR space in Australia. This coincided with the agency’s announcement of a new sustainability business offering – Communications with Purpose, which will see it become one of few major PR agencies in Australia to achieve B-Corp accreditation.
Challenges:
- Help strategically reposition the business to a purpose led sustainable model that celebrated their new strategic initiatives
- Assess and recommend on the state of play - how the brand looks, sounds and behaves in market and capture the semiotic relevance of the current brand system (ie is orange the right hero colour for the brand moving foward?)
- Collaboratively define a new strategic business narrative that outlines the next chapter of Forward as a progressive and ethically focused Australian creative agency.
- Evolve the visual identity expression in-line with the new positioning and narrative to reflect the next chapter of business growth

The new brand identity reflects FORWARD’s philosophy to “keep moving forward” and the agency’s commitment to authentic human connections. It is a bold and creatively optimistic pivot that signals a positive change, in the face of uncertain times. Culminating in:
- A confident and fresh new system that signifies change and momentum
- A message to the market that the business is on the move
- New business development tools and credentials that tell a more complete story
- New image library and asset system to add energy and sophistication to all touch points
- Dynamic new and simplified web site
